Beginners, Novice and Experienced Paddlers
Adults, Juniors and families are all very welcome to join us 🙂
Once the membership form is completed, and has been approved by the club (usually within 48 hours), you will be offered an annual membership. Upon acceptance you will be able to book onto one of our Introduction sessions which will be at the same time as our regular sessions (Monday Evenings). If we have no Introduction sessions scheduled in our events calendar then fear not – we will know you have joined and we will plan in an introduction session and you will receive notification via email. You’re welcome to email us to let us know if there’s any particular Monday evenings that would suit better and we’ll try and work with you to get you on the water.
These sessions are ran throughout the year subject to coach availability, but would typically be within weeks of you joining.
The introduction session will introduce you to our club and allow you to try up to three different craft (Kayak, Canoe and/or Stand-Up-Paddleboard). This session is suitable for complete beginners through to experienced paddlers.
Upon completion of this introduction session you will be awarded a Paddle UK Start Award and can attend the clubs regular sessions.
The cost of the introduction session is included in your first years membership. Subsequent sessions will follow our regular fees.
