We have aa large range of equipment that any anyone attending a club event can use. The use of equipment at club events comes at a small cost.
The equipment we have available in a variety of sizes:
- Kayak Paddles (including left handed ones)
- Canoe Paddles
- Canoe Pole
- Bouncy Aids
You defiantly need shoes that can get wet.
You may also bring the following:
- Hand sanitiser
- Hot drinks
We reserve the right not to lend equipment to any of our members.
We run a number of different Events that our equipment can be used for.
Please refer to our Weekly Sessions for more information.
Cost £5 for half an hour, any amount of equipment can be used. We have a limited amount of space at the pool to store equipment so please be patient to the amount of equipment we have available, if you are able to commit to bringing a boat down every week you may wish to loan one and bring to bring down.
An additional £4 levy is charged if you require the use of any of the clubs’ equipment bringing the cost of the night up to £5.
A small cost of £5 for any amount of kit per person. If you can organise the transportation of the equipment yourself it would make the life of the equipment officer and event organisers much easier.
If you are a member of Bolton Canoe Club you can loan our equipment for non-club events, subject to committee decision, for a compulsory donation. Please note: when using club equipment outside of official club events you are not covered by the clubs liability insurance, nor is loss or damage covered by our insurance. You are therefore responsible for looking after the kit and the club will charge you for any loss or damage. Please also return it in a timely fashion. We may have plans for the equipment you use.
You must be a paid member of the club. A donation is compulsory (as a rough advisory guide a couple of days with a couple items of kit around £5, any longer up to a fortnight around or with several items of kit £20), please refer to more information on Loan of Club Equipment.
All monies raised are re-invested in new equipment whether it is simply better equipment, more accessible equipment or allowing us to create more of a choice of equipment we have for our members.
